This year is the first for the United Kingdom Imaging & Oncology Congress (UKIO) which is the result of an amalgamation of the UK Radiological Congress (UKRC) and the UK Radiation Oncology Conference (UKRO).

This annual event consists of a three-day multidisciplinary scientific congress and technical exhibition which run simultaneously at the ACC Liverpool. The event is aimed at all those involved in the field of radiological science and radiation oncology and attracts over 2,000 attendees every year.

The theme this year is Personalise & Humanise, which reflects the need to create bespoke pathways for diagnostic imaging to encourage open standards and interoperability across the NHS.
