Qure Becomes Latest Vendor to join AI Connect Marketplace
Qure has become the latest AI vendor to join our AI Connect Marketplace, bringing with them a range of AI algorithms that automatically interpret X-rays and CT scans to diagnose pulmonary diseases and traumatic brain injuries (TBI).
Qure’s deep learning algorithms improve both the accuracy and efficiency of the radiology function in traditional hospital settings, and also make leading-edge medical imaging services accessible to smaller, remote medical care teams with limited in-house radiology capabilities. Qure’s products are currently being used in 20 countries, across various radiology and healthcare facilities. The company has also adapted their solutions to support clinicians in the UK and other countries in their fight against COVID-19.
Qure’s qXR is a CE-certified automated chest X-ray interpretation tool that detects abnormal chest X-rays, identifying and localising 29 common abnormalities. It has been trained with over 3.5 million curated X-rays and radiology reports and applied in a number of public health programmes. It also has the ability to quantify the proportion of lungs affected due to lesions enabling clinicians to monitor daily treatment and patient progression.
Qure’s qER is a FDA Cleared and CE Certified head CT interpretation tool that accurately detects, localises and quantifies intra-cerebral bleeds, infarcts, mass effect, midline shift, cranial fractures and other critical findings from trauma CT exams. The product is used by multiple hospitals and tele-radiology providers to prioritise radiology worklists and assist radiology reporting by pre-populating templates to save dictation time.
Qure’s solutions are available to purchase through Wellbeing’s AI Connect Marketplace and can be integrated into existing radiology workflows using Wellbeing’s AI Connect gateway, which is free to the NHS and can be used to embed algorithms into any RIS or PACS, optimising and accelerating the rate of adoption.
Graeme Eccles, AI Partnership Director at Wellbeing said:
“AI is gathering traction on the basis it supports the NHS to prioritise patient treatment, which is especially important due to the widely reported backlog of scans and outstanding results. We are pleased to welcome Qure to our AI Connect Marketplace, extending our catalogue of market-leading algorithms, and we look forward to working with them over the coming months.”
Prashant Warier, CEO at qure.ai shared:
“We are excited to partner with Wellbeing, the largest radiology IT solution provider in the UK. We believe that AI can enrich healthcare systems and enhance patient outcomes. It adds efficiency to the process, freeing up time for physicians so that they can focus on patient interaction and treatment. Working with Wellbeing helps us to expand our reach across the NHS and other clients in the UK.”
